AEROSPACE SHEET METAL WORKING
Forming (folding on a press or rolling) of large panels (fuselage) with taper bend radius.
Conforming (straightness recovery) by 3-points bending, by burnishing aluminum alloys and shot blasting.

AIRBUS
Beluga XL cargo plane
Requirement: industrialization and manufacturing of 400 structural parts for the Beluga XL. Time to Market : 4 months.
Complexity:define the Make or Buy distribution in a reduced cycle with complex project management (including material purchase) to meet the requirements (industrialization and production).
The result: real success in term of logistic and quality acknowledged by the customer.
ALSTOM - SNCF Railway sub-assembly
Requirement: global project management (6 plants) with study, calculation, development, and mock-up, respecting a chain of dimensions with tight tolerances. Product delivered without any stress for the customer.
Complexity: 60 sub-assemblies which pass between all the partners from various atypical activities. Multi-site interactivity and delivery in quality assurance to the customer. Precise assembly was a proof of quality.
The result: deadline respected – Total satisfaction of the client – Halgand is now a key certified partner of SNCF.
THALES Assembly structure
Requirement: Mechanical assembly structure. Complex and Tight specifications for innovation on new program. The product was previously made with mechanical welding.
Complexity: Halgand was the project leader with a dozen companies (studies / calculation, mass cut machining of elementary parts, remachining, painting …). 8 tons of material, 150 elementary parts, 1600 fixings. It was necessary to remain flexible throughout the design and implementation.
The result: deadline catched. 8 pieces on firm order to be produced from 2022 to 2024. Our ability to respond to build to spec and build to print files is now recognized by our customer.
